Our 2006 Christmas cards were inspired by an illustration we had seen while we were at college at Georgetown.  With a rough sketch we outlined what our illustration should look like.

A graphic artist we contracted off Elance.com sketched out several pencil drawings of the design.

After arriving at a fairly good pencil sketch, our contractor moved on to creating a color illustration.  Unfortunately, this contractor was located in the Philippines and revisions to the illustration took longer than desired.  After receiving the image on the right below, we made the remainder of the revisions on our own.

After hours agonizing over every detail (does this wrinkle make me look older than I am?), we finally completed the design for our 2006 Christmas cards.  We hope you enjoy it!
